“Stop Online Piracy Act” otherwise known as the Censor the Internet Bill
Congress is currently debating two new bills, the Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Act which could change the face of the Internet forever. The bills are supposed to be designed in order to protect intellectual property and curb copyright infringement, which is definitely a huge issue today. But the proposed way of dealing with this problem amounts to reversing years of US legislation promoting internet freedom and creating a system similar to ones in countries like China and Iran. It’s a Girl! Sex of Beyonce and Jay-z’s child revealed
Well, I didn’t expect it to happen so soon but the cat is officially out of the bag. Beyonce and Jay-z are expecting a baby girl! Thursday, during an interview with a UK news agency (Bang Showbiz), Kelly Rowland, in her excitement, accidentally revealed the sex of the couple’s child.
When asked about her friends she gushed,
“I’m so happy for my sister and her husband. They’re so happy in this moment right now, as they should be. They made a little bundle of love. I’m so excited for them…I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyoncé at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won’t be spoiled, but she will be very well looked-after.”
There has been no formal announcement from Beyonce or Jay-z, but I’d say Kelly Rowland is a pretty good source, wouldn’t you?
Rihanna Releases Music Video: We Found Love
Just about an hour ago, Rihanna released her latest music video for her single “We Found Love”. The video, filmed in Ireland is directed by Melina and features model Dudley o’Shaughnessy. The concept is about a toxic love, so strong and dangerous it’s like a drug. We see the literal highs as well as lows of their relationship, culminating in an overdose and explosive break up. Possible references to her former relationship with Chris Brown abound, from the blond haired model she chose, to an explosive and almost violent argument in a car scene.

H&M announces plans for online shopping in the US, and is scheduled to release Versace for H&M line soon
H&M has finally given a time-frame for their plans to open up online shopping to U.S. Residents. While other countries have already been able to online shop, for some reason the US have not. According to H&M’s Twitter yesterday, Shop online will be available to the US in Autumn 2012. More immediately, also according to the H&M US Twitter H&M is scheduled to release their Versace for H&M line on November 19th. Target saw an incredible amount of sales in their Missoni for Target release last month, with stores and websites being sold out within hours, so perhaps we will see a similar result with H&M.
Beyonce’s Baby Bump Fake?
There have been a lot of rumors lately that Beyonce is faking her pregnancy, stemming from an interview she did in Australia earlier this week. In a video of the beginning of the interview, Beyonce walks out, greets the host and then sits down and it appears that her belly/dress folds in on itself.

Rihanna Named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive 2011
Rihanna graces the November cover of Esquire as the “Sexiest Woman Alive”. Rihanna is only the 3rd black woman to be on the cover of Esquire, with Halle Berry and Robin Givens being the other two. The issue is not due to hit newsstands until later this week, but Esquire has released the interview, pictures and lots of bonus interviews on their website. They cover everything from what goes on backstage at her concerts, her infamous fan lap dances, her feelings on Chris Brown’s album success and how she doesn’t even think she’s being sexy during her shows. Beyonce Releases “Countdown” Music Video
So Beyonce released her latest video last night, for her single “Countdown” off of her latest album ’4′. And once again, she makes it look effortless, even while pregnant. The video has a retro, dancer, really cute feel with a lot of neon pop colors. And we get a couple of good glimpses of her baby bump. So far she’s gotten a lot of good feedback from her fans. I always thought when Beyonce got pregnant she would disappear from the radar, but so far that is far from the truth. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
